Editing

When we had finished our filming the natural next step was to edit. We all did a little bit of editing but there was one who did the majority of the editing, as he did not do much during the filming and acting process.
When all our footage was uploaded we had to go through and decided which parts of the film that we wanted to keep and what we needed.
Some of the editing techniques that we used were; Ghost trails (to make the actor seem drunk) and changing the film to black and white to help fit the connotations of film noire.
We added sound effects to the OTS but no music on the belief that music would take away some of the atmosphere and make the OTS tense. Sound effects were used to exaggerate some things such as the wind blowing.

Film Role

A film role is the job of each person involved with the production of the film. They are split up to 10 sub catergories Art, Hair and Make-up, Wardrobe, camera, production sound, grip, electrical, editoral, visual effects and sound/music.

Director - film director, or filmmaker, is a person who directs the making and/or the production of a film. Many people also consider film producers, cinematographers, film editors, and special effects experts to be filmmakers.

Art - The art department is split into a further 6 sub catergories. These are Art, Set (deals with the look of the set and the decorating ) , Props, Construction, Scenic and Greens. Now i did not know what the term 'Greens' meant so i went and looked into it more and found that the Greensman is a specialised set dresser dealing with the artistic arrangement or landscape design of plant material.

Hair and Make up - Make up artists obviously work with make up also with hair and special effects to complete the characters look when he/she is on screen.

Filming!!!!

After weeks and weeks and weeks of planning we finally started filming. Yes thats right we actually started filming.
We did have problems while filming, mainly the weather was too dark. The inside scene was easy to film as we could manipulate the lighting ourselves but outdoors it was much more difficult.
When we did our final piece of filming some chunks were rushed due to the unbelievably cold weather.
However all in all our filming was rather successful.
Our original plan was to get a group of people to act for us, however as we did not have much time we realised that we would have to do the acting ourselves. This combined along with having to make sure that each shot was good made the task a little more difficult.

Timing

When i saw the title i had no idea what it meant so once again i looked it up on the inter net and found out, that it was the event given at a specific space of time. For example Comedians need a sence of comic timing to get the most out of a single joke.
